SOUTH BERWICK PLANNING BOARD
Regular Meeting

ROLL CALL:
Present: John Stirling, William Straub, Manley Gove, Kathy Connor and Joe Rousselle, Code Enforcement Officer

Warren Spencer – Absent
Paul Steinhauer – Absent

CALL TO ORDER:
Mr. Stirling called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.

MINUTES APPROVAL:
Motion to approve minutes of 5-6-2015, by Mr. Straub and second by Mr. Gove. VOTE: 3-0

Motion to table minutes of 5-20 -2015 (Regular Meeting and Special Hearing) until next meeting

PUBLIC AUDIENCE:
Mr. Heroux, 145 Route 236

CORRESPONDENCE:

NEW BUSINESS:
Mr. Straub made a motion that the Planning Board recommend Manley Gove to become a full member, with a second by Mr. Stirling.

OLD BUSINESS:
#1: Continued review of Ordinance Updates
Ms. Connor discussed proposed changes to Chapter 140-26/Signs.

Mr. Straub mentioned that he would like South Berwick to have a standard for light emitted from signs. Ms. Connor will work on addition a photometric requirement.

#2: MSP#15-002 Application for Day Care Center at 145 Route 236 (Map 17 Lot 12) Roger Heroux
Mr. Heroux presented Planning Board with pictures and sketch of what additions to landscaping were made.

Ms. Connor pointed out that a revised letter from the Sewer District was not included for tonight’s meeting.

Motion by Mr. Gove to accept application as complete with the condition that applicant provide letter from Sewer District, with second by Mr. Straub. VOTE: 3-0

A Public Hearing on this application to be held at next meeting on Wednesday, June 17, 2015.

OTHER:
Ms. Connor explained that after the meeting with Jon St Pierre, Joe Rousselle and John O’Neill and Scott O’Neill they talked about re-routing stormwater runoff. Mr. O’Neill stated that they would provide a new sketch plan of new stormwater management system. Ms. Connor has not seen this plan yet.

MEMBER COMMENTS:
Planning Board would like to have packages sent out earlier in the week. The plan will be to send them out on the Tuesday prior to a Planning Board meeting.

Motion by Mr. Gove, second by Mr. Straub to adjourn the Regular Meeting at 8:07 p.m. VOTE: 3-0
