REGULAR MEETING MINUTES

Present: John Stirling – Chairman, Bill Straub – Vice Chairman, Terrence Parker, Warren Spencer, Joel Moulton and Joe Rousselle Code Enforcement Officer

CALL TO ORDER

Chair John Stirling called the Planning Board meeting to order at 7:07p.m.

MINUTES APPROVAL

Motion: by Mr. Spencer, second by Mr. Straub, to approve the minutes of the August 1st, 2012 Planning Board meeting as amended. Vote: 4-0

PUBLIC AUDIENCE: Town Manager and Matt Peters

CORRESPONDENCE: NONE

OLD BUSINESS: 1. Continued review of MNS# 12-03 Patterson Subdivision off Stacy Lane.

Memo: from JT Lockman on extending the road length.

Mr. Harmon explained the he has spoken to JT and felt they were on the same page.

Mr. Stiling asked the Board if they were ready for a vote.

Mr. Spencer motioned Mr. Straub seconded to waive the road length. Vote 3-2 Passed

2: MSP#12-03: 28 unit congregate Housing project for Avesta Partnership LLC.

The Board decided to have site walk for Thursday August 23rd @ 7:30am.

Mr. Peters from Avesta Partnership gave a brief overview of the project. He introduced Danielle from Lassel architects Terrence Parker from Terra Ferma and Eric Wainride from Altus

Perry Ellsworth gave an overview of all the meetings that he has had with the Abutters.

Danielle gave an overview of the building and explained that it would be a flat roof. This would meet the 35’ height requirement.

Mr. Parker went over the landscape for the site.
