Chair John Stirling called the Planning Board meeting to order at 7:01pm.

Avesta Housing Partners LLC

Matt Peters, Jeff Clifford, Perry Ellsworth, Terrence Parker, and Danielle Moebius from the Committee for this project gave an overview of the project.

Matt Peters spoke about the need for senior housing in the down town area. They have had several meetings with the abutters and changed a lot of the design. They have maintained the site as much as possible with trees and storm water in the area.

Danielle Moebius from Lassel architects explained that the entrance to the building was changed to be in front of the building so when people come into the project they face the entrance. The roof was changed to a flat roof to meet the 35’ Height requirement.

Terrence Parker explained the green space and the saving of trees on the project. The walking path was changed to the outside of the lot and shaded by the trees.

Jeff Clifford explained the site walk and showed the changes to the plan for bicycle storage, storm water, and the change of the fire hydrant on the lot.

Perry Ellsworth explained that all easements for utility, storm water and sewer will be part of the purchase and sale agreement and be final before permits are issued.

Mr. Stirling asked if anyone else wanted to speak on the project, hearing none closed the Public Hearing at 7:45pm.
