Regular Meeting

ROLL CALL:
Present: Paul Steinhauer, William Straub, Warren Spencer, Joseph Rousselle, CEO and Kathy Connor, SMPDC

Absent: Manley Gove, Shaye Cheslock

CALL TO ORDER:
Mr. Steinhauer called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m.

MINUTES APPROVAL:
Approval of minutes of 10/19/16 tabled until next Planning Board meeting.

Outlook Golf Course, MSP#14-001 25 Unit Subdivision Portland and Dawson
Mr. Straub asked if there was a time limit on the plan, what if it goes on for years. Ms. Connor stated that the Ordinance says that since no FOF has been established with a time limit for construction,

Mr. Straub asked when did the Planning Board vote on the Preliminary Plan for this and Ms. Connor stated that it was early spring and that the applicant has 12 months after issuance of preliminary approval to submit a final plan.

Ordinance Review
The Planning Board discussed a list of possible Ordinances to review. A few examples are Driveway Standards and Hotel/Motel Standards and Site Plan Review, and a few other things to clean up.

Joe discussed expanding allowable businesses in Table A. For ex: Doggie Day Care inquiries are coming up and there is just not a definition for this, therefore it is not allowed. Other examples are Microbreweries, Landscaping and Tree Care, Mini Storage, and Light Industry

Mr. Straub suggested that the Planning Board take up the suggested administrative changes to clean up a few of the Ordinances. This would be easier and more straight forward to start with and then move to other ones that require more substantial policy review.

Mr. Straub suggested that the next Planning Board mtg. on 11/16/16 be cancelled, second by Mr. Spencer. VOTE: 3-0
